Thanks for helping Julienne learn English!

P1000477
Dear Kyley,

Julienne is 14 years old and in her first year of lower secondary school in Rwanda.  Julienne lives with her four brothers and two sisters in the Gashora sector, an impoverished area of Rwanda which was hit hard by the genocide.

Because the Rwandan schooling system recently switched to English-based classes, students need to improve their English skills in order to succeed academically. English skills are also critical in order to succeed on the national exam, which determines entrance into upper secondary school. Few students from Gashora have the opportunity to move to upper secondary school. But thanks to your donation, Julienne is attending intensive English classes!

In her free time, Julienne likes to play and dance. Her favorite subject in school is English and she loves coming to class to practice her speech and learn through games.  She hopes to someday be a nurse. Thank you for your support; Julienne will now have the English skills that she needs to succeed in school and in life!
