Thanks for helping Mary to improve her English skills. Thanks to your donation, Mary is attending intensive English classes on Saturdays and Sundays this fall. Mary is in her first year of lower secondary school in Rwanda. She hopes to one day start her own business, so English is an important element of her education. Because the Rwandan schooling system has recently switched to English-based classes, she must catch up in her English skills in order to succeed in her academics and career. In two years, she will take the English-based national exam which determines her entrance into upper secondary school.
Mary is eagerly practicing her verbal and written language skills, so that she can excel on her exams and in life. Relative pronouns are her favorite part of English classes!
Mary is from the Gashora sector – an impoverished area of Rwanda which was hit hard by the genocide. Few students from Gashora have the opportunity to move on to upper secondary school. Mary thanks you for your support Pradeep!
