Louise is studying English – Rwanda Girls Initiative

Dear Margo,

Thanks to your donation, Louise is attending intensive English classes on Saturdays and Sundays this fall. Louise is in her first year of lower secondary school in Rwanda. She hopes to one day be a nurse. Because the Rwandan schooling system has recently switched to English-based classes, she must catch up in her English skills in order to succeed in her academics and career.

In two years, she will take the English-based national exam which determines her entrance into upper secondary school. Louise is eagerly practicing her verbal and written language skills, so that she can excel on her exams and in life. She loves to study!

Louise has two brothers and one sister. Few students from the Gashora sector have the opportunity to move on to upper secondary school. Margo, with your help, Louise has a chance to succeed!
