Aline is studying hard

P1000442
Dear Pradeep,

Thanks to your donation, Aline is attending intensive English classes on Saturdays and Sundays this fall.   Aline is 14 years old and in her first year of lower secondary school in Rwanda.  She hopes to one day become a nurse.  Because the Rwandan schooling system has recently switched to English-based classes, Aline must catch up in her English skills in order to succeed in her academics and career.  In one year, she will take the English-based national exam which determines her entrance into upper secondary school.

Aline is eagerly practicing her verbal and written language skills, so that she can excel on her exams and in life.  English is her favorite subject in school!

Aline is from the Gashora sector – an impoverished area of Rwanda which was hit hard by the genocide.  Few students from Gashora have the opportunity to move on to upper secondary school.    In her free time, she likes to play soccer and volleyball. Thanks Pradeep for your support!
